A Few Words About Us

Redemption Psychiatry is an outpatient psychiatric group that was founded by Doctor Friday to provide quality mental health treatment to children, adolescents, and adults in the East Valley. We treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders and patient populations to accommodate the needs of one of the fastest growing areas in Arizona. We recognize the overwhelming need for psychiatric care in Gilbert, Mesa, Higley, Chandler, Queen Creek, San Tan, and surrounding areas and we are ready to meet the challenge of caring for our community with skill and compassion.

The future of medicine is very high-tech and we see the value of utilizing technology to provide our clients with the information and convenience they have come to expect in our fast-paced lives. This allows us to spend more of our scheduled appointment time with our clients and less time collecting and documenting routine information. We want to use as little paper in the office as possible. For some clients this can be a very different experience, but we think you will appreciate the convenience of having prescriptions sent directly to the pharmacy, receiving automated text message appointment reminders, and filling out forms, checking appointments, signing documents, and getting patient education online.

Why Redemption?

From the Latin Redimere, Redemption means to buy back & is synonymous with recovery, saving, reclamation, & absolution.

Our goal is to redeem our profession from the preconceptions and misrepresentations of mental health in our society that have evolved from fear, ignorace, and the poor practices of a minority of providers. The stigma of mental health can only be eliminated when professionals are willing to stand up for their patients and lead by example.

Redemption for our patients and their families will come when they recover from their illness and reclaim their lives.

Mission Statement

SHOW THERE IS STRENGTH IN SEEKING HELP FOR MENTAL HEALTH

At Redemption we believe there is strength in seeking help. All too often the stigma associated with mental illness prevents those who need care from seeking it. We are doing our best to combat this attitude and assure our neighbors and friends that seeking and receiving mental health care is neither shameful nor weak.

DEVELOP A PLAN OF CARE TO
MAINTAIN MENTAL HEALTH

Our mission is to reduce the impact of mental illness and improve the quality of life for our clients and for all those in our community. We strive to expand our services and our area of service to provide the greatest possible service to the greatest number of people with a consistently high standard of care.

EMPLOY EFFECTIVE TRADITIONAL & MODERN METHODS OF TREATMENT

The services we provide run the gamut from the traditional to the ultra-modern. We constantly strive to provide our patients with the sevices they need and want and to increase our knowledge and ability to provide those services with professionalism, compassion and skill.

THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE IS HIGH-TECH AND STILL PERSONAL

We employ the newest medical technology for treatments and to provide our clients with the information and convenience expected in our fast-paced modern lives. This allows us to spend more appointment time relating to our clients instead of collecting and documenting routine information.
